Verified, and honest about the limits.
That third number is deliberately on the page. Most Nigerian professional bodies publish no register we can search — including two of the largest in healthcare. We would rather show you the real figure than imply a coverage we do not have.
How each credential is checked. The route depends on the body — and where it is only a hand-check, we say so rather than dress it up as verified.
Checked against a public register. The body keeps its own register open to anyone, so we check the credential against it directly — the licence number, the name, the standing. This is the one route where we can genuinely say verified, and it is the strongest evidence we can hand you.
Checked by hand where the register is paid. A register exists, but it sits behind a paywall or a login with no open lookup. So a person on our team checks the credential against it directly — slower, but real. We tell you it was a manual check, never dress it up as an instant one.
Reviewed on the documents, and we say so. Some bodies publish no register we can search — including two of the largest in Nigerian healthcare. Here the claim rests on the certificate itself, reviewed by our team. We mark it as document review rather than imply a check we cannot make.
Every body we verify, grouped by sector. Each tile is marked with the route it is checked by — a public register, a paid one, or document review — and shown as a name, never a logo.

What listing a body does not claim. And never will.
Listing a body here means one thing: we check the credentials it issues. It does not mean that body has reviewed, approved or endorsed hannu — and it does not mean every Operator holds one of these credentials. Most tasks need none. Where a credential is required, the task says so, and only a verified claim satisfies it. We show names, never logos: a regulator’s mark would imply an endorsement we do not have.

Know exactly what “verified” means.
We check credentials against the bodies that issue them — and tell you, honestly, how far each one can be checked. Tell us the work you need covered, and we’ll show you the route for it.
